BREAKING NEWS (4:05 p.m.): Involuntary manslaughter charge for AT&T Park death

Prosecutors have charged an 18-year-old San Carlos man accused of causing the death of another 18-year-old during a fight outside AT&T Park in San Francisco Friday night with involuntary manslaughter, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office announced today.

San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris announced the charges this afternoon at the San Francisco Hall of Justice.

Taylor Buckley is currently in custody at San Francisco County Jail after allegedly punching Anthony Giraudo, of Redwood City, during an argument at about 9:45 p.m., near the end of a San Francisco Giants game.

Giraudo reportedly fell and struck his head on the pavement, and died Saturday at San Francisco General Hospital. Buckley turned himself to police later the same day after an arrest warrant was issued for murder.

Involuntary manslaughter is punishable in California by up to four years in state prison.
